From molten glass to finished light, every Starclo From molten glass to finished light, every Starcloud is shaped by human hands.
Its journey begins with glassblowing and continues through meticulous grinding, polishing, cleaning, and final assembly. Before it is complete, each light passes through the hands of 35 to 40 skilled craftspeople, each responsible for a precise stage of its creation.

Discover the craftsmanship behind Starcloud.

A vision for Starcloud in space. These sketches ex A vision for Starcloud in space.
These sketches explore a striking installation above a staircase, where the three distinctive shapes of the Starcloud collection – Atria, Lyra and Vega – come together in a cascading composition. Suspended at different heights, their sculptural forms create a sense of rhythm and movement, transforming the open space into a constellation of light.

Before a new glass colour can enter the furnace, t Before a new glass colour can enter the furnace, the previous one has to make way.

In a process known as draining the furnace, the remaining molten glass is carefully drawn out, clearing the furnace and preparing it for the next colour. It is an essential step in the glassmaking process whenever the colour of the molten glass changes.

A demanding part of the craft, it takes place in extreme heat and requires strength, experience, and an instinctive understanding of how molten glass behaves. The energy held within the furnace carries on through the glassmaking process, shaping the pieces that will eventually find their way to you.

A behind-the-scenes glimpse into one of the many skilled processes taking place in our glassworks before a new colour can come to life.

New synthetic silk ropes introduce two contrasting New synthetic silk ropes introduce two contrasting expressions to the Knot collection.

Black draws a bold, graphic line through the transparent handblown glass, giving the light a distinctive, dramatic character. White appears softer and more refined, blending with the glow to create a sense of lightness and calm.

The same sculptural form. Two opposing moods.

The newly introduced rope made of synthetic silk lends the collection a lighter, more refined character. Against a dark background, its braided structure becomes a striking design detail. In the interior, it forms a delicate line through the clear handblown glass, highlighting the contrast between softness and sculptural form.

The white rope is now available across the Knot collection.

The new PVD Black Gun finish brings a distinctive The new PVD Black Gun finish brings a distinctive depth to the Knot collection. Applied to the metal fittings and canopies, its highly reflective surface responds to the changing light, revealing subtle variations in tone and lending the metal an exclusive character.

The dark, polished finish creates a refined contrast with the clear handblown glass and the tactile rope that passes through it. In a light-filled interior defined by cool natural tones and clean lines, Knot becomes an expressive detail—understated in form, yet rich in material presence.

Alongside natural rope, Knot is now also available Alongside natural rope, Knot is now also available with synthetic silk cords. The black version lends the collection a more graphic character, while preserving the contrast of materials that lies at the heart of its design.
In the Arcade collection, black cords made of synthetic silk trace graceful curves through space, forming elegant arches that echo the collection’s name. In Knot, the cord takes on a different role: a striking tactile element set against the delicate curves and clarity of handblown glass.

In both collections, the cord is far more than a functional detail. It shapes the silhouette, defines the character, and becomes an integral part of the light.
